The Monitoring, Learning, and Evaluation (MEL) process for the CISERR initiative is led by Dr Eleni Kalantidou in collaboration with Tammy Brennan, on behalf of Testimony Arts. This non-linear evaluation framework is rooted in co-design and co-production, place-based and lived experience approaches. CISERR’s MEL emphasises researching with, building relationships and trust among participants/stakeholders.

CISERR embeds a custom-made MEL process in all iterations, through interviews, surveys, co-designing workshops and participatory methodologies. The findings from each MEL provide insights leading to the re-design of CISERR’s next round. Ethical clearance for this research is obtained from Griffith University’s Research Ethics and Integrity Office.
